The CSK-3M autoclavable thermocouple electrodes feature integral 3-meter cables for direct connection to a Cosman radiofrequency generator. Compatible with straight and curved RF cannulae of matching length (CC, RFK).
Cosman radiofrequency (RF) cannulae are used with thermocouple electrodes, such as the Cosman CSK, TCN, TCD electrodes, for temperature-controlled RF lesioning for the treatment of pain. RF cannulae are typically used to access nervous structures around the spinal, such as the medial branch, dorsal root ganglion, sympathetic chain, and gray ramus communicans. Or, they can be used to target more peripheral nerves such as the suprascapular, splanchnic, and inferior calcaneal. Anesthetics, steroids, contrast and other fluid agents can be injected through a cannula's hollow interior, which also accepts an electrode for RF lesioning.
Cosman RF cannulae come in a wide variety of shapes and size to suit doctor preference and clinical objectives:
- Lengths: 5, 10, 15, 20 cm
- Tip Exposure: 2, 4, 5, 6, 10, 15, 20 mm
- Diameter: 22, 21, 20, 18, 16 gauge
- Straight or Curved
- Sharp or Blunt
- Siliconized (white insulation) or Standard (black insulation)
Each Cosman RF cannula features an ergonomic hub, a stiff steerable shaft, and specially tapered insulation at the tip to facilitate insertion and maneuvering. The cannula is colored coded by length and is compatible with all Cosman electrodes of matching length, including the reusable Nitinol (TCN), reusable stainless steel (CSK), and disposable (TCD) models.

Each Cosman disposableTC radiofrequency electrode (TCD) comes sterile-packed to eliminate sterilization logistics and the possibility of disease transmission. Use as a backup in case a reusable electrode is accidently contaminated.
Made from robust, stainless steel shafts, CSK radiofrequency thermocouple electrodes are designed for repeated autoclaving and reuse in multiple patients. Compatible with straight and curved RF cannulae of matching length (CC, RFK).
Made from super-flexible Nickel-Titanium "memory metal", Cosman Nitinol TC radiofrequency electrode (TCN) are designed for enhanced durability to daily use and repeated autoclaving. Compatible with straight and curved RF cannulae of matching length (CC, RFK).
