Drez RF Electrodes

Fine-gauge, shouldered electrodes specialized for creating discrete radiofrequency lesions in the dorsal root entry zone (DREZ) of the spinal cord and the nucleus caudalis.

Spinal DREZ Electrode (NTCD)

Nashold Thermocouple DREZ Electrode is autoclavable and can be used for RF heat lesioning in the dorsal root entry zone for the treatment of pain.  The electrode is lightweight for easy handling and has shouldered insulation that helps prevent the electrode from drifting more than 2mm into the spinal cord. A free step-by-step guide for cervical DREZ lesioning is available.

Nucleus Caudalis Electrode (ENA)

The El-Naggar-Nashold Nucleus Caudalis DREZ electrode (ENA) is autoclavable and can be used for RF heat lesioning in the nucleus caudalis DREZ for the treatment of pain.  The electrode is lightweight, with an ergonomic handle.  The tip is angled to facilitate placement in the nucleus caudalis. A free step-by-step guide for nucleus caudalis DREZ lesioning is available.
